Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 199 p4p, 1147 weight class) and Samuel Sycek (ranked 25 p4p, 147 weight class). Todd comes to the cage accompanied by Piano Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 45 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Todd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuel Sycek!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sycek keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Todd.
Sycek takes a swing at Todd's ribcage but misses.
Sycek walks into a straight right hand from Todd.
Todd lands an overhand right.
Sycek misses with a takedown attempt - Todd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Todd jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Sycek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Todd is fending him off so far but Sycek persists. Nope, Todd circles away and we're back to standing.
Sycek forces Todd back against the cage and clinches.

Sycek bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Todd's guard.

That's time! Todd's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Todd uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sycek wants to clinch up but Todd keeps it at a distance.
Sycek has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sycek or perhaps it was just good defense by Todd, which made it look bad.
Sycek shoots for a double leg takedown but Todd sprawls well. He's pushed Sycek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nice straight punches there by Todd. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Todd.
Sycek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Todd tries to avoid it but Sycek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Todd to the ground. Todd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Sycek backs away, Todd returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Winston Todd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Sycek.
Sycek takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That kick from Todd tenderised Sycek's leg. Sycek is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Winston Todd will probably get the nod.
