Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Masters (ranked 2060 p4p, 961 weight class) and Macka Briggs (ranked 82 p4p, 39 weight class). Briggs comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stepping Razor by Peter Tosh kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Macka Briggs!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters jabs at Briggs's body.
Briggs scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Masters dodges the punch combination from Briggs.
Briggs with a nice cross.
Masters steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Briggs.
Masters tests Briggs's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Masters looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Briggs keeping full guard, as Masters tries to pass.
Masters is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Masters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masters looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Briggs preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Briggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Masters controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Briggs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Masters.
Briggs keeping moving, preventing Masters from controlling successfully.
Masters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Masters scoring with punches to the head and body.
Briggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Masters wants to control from the top but Briggs keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Masters postures up in Briggs's guard and throws a big left but Briggs blocks it.
Masters trying to control but Briggs is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Briggs misses with a wild body shot.
Briggs swinging wildly here.
Masters avoids a punch combination nicely.
Masters looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Masters ducks under a wild hook from Briggs.
Masters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Briggs tries to avoid it but Masters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Briggs to the ground. Briggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Briggs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Briggs lunges at Masters with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masters's hand.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Macka Briggs.
I think Briggs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
