Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orestes Prometheus (ranked 91 p4p, 129 weight class) and Adan Puno (ranked 14 p4p, 22 weight class). Prometheus comes to the cage accompanied by Before I Forget - Slipknot. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Adan Puno was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orestes Prometheus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prometheus throws an overhand right that lands on Puno's shoulder, as Puno tries to avoid the shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Puno. Prometheus does a little dance to reset his feet. Prometheus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Puno on the side of the head.
It looks like Adan Puno has been cut. Puno avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Puno steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Prometheus. Puno shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. It looked like Prometheus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Prometheus tests Puno's chin there with a solid looking shot. Prometheus looks to throw the jab but Puno is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Puno throws a right hand that misses
enabling Prometheus to counter with a crisp jab. Puno needs to keep his hands up - Prometheus had a free shot at his head there. Orestes Prometheus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Prometheus misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prometheus moves out of range of the leg kick from Puno. Puno takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That has opened up Adan Puno's cut even more. Prometheus throws a leg kick which misses Puno's front leg but catches the back leg as Puno tries to avoid it. Puno throws a leg kick and Prometheus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Prometheus misses with an uppercut. Puno saw that one coming. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Prometheus! Puno is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orestes Prometheus! A victorious Orestes Prometheus thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
