Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuuji Hoshino!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrillo-Moreno is looking to land body kicks.
Hoshino appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Hoshino as Carrillo-Moreno shoots in.
Carrillo-Moreno is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoshino sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carrillo-Moreno.

Carrillo-Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoshino tries to sprawl out of it but Carrillo-Moreno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoshino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hoshino throws out a counter right but Carrillo-Moreno avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hoshino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hoshino tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carrillo-Moreno was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoshino.
Good work by Hoshino as he checks the leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Hoshino checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hoshino! But no joy.
Hoshino lands with a hook. Carrillo-Moreno tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hoshino avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hoshino looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Hoshino lands a nice looking body shot.
Carrillo-Moreno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hoshinos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hoshino drops his hands momentarily and Carrillo-Moreno takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Carrillo-Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoshino tries to sprawl out of it but Carrillo-Moreno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoshino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Hoshino was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Carrillo-Moreno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carrillo-Moreno throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hoshino counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hoshino counters with a good low kick that Carrillo-Moreno was not able to check.
Carrillo-Moreno is breathing heavily.
Hoshino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hoshino wants to counter the offense by Carrillo-Moreno and move into the clinch position.

Carrillo-Moreno moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hoshino scores with a nice strike.

Oh Carrillo-Moreno is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hoshino throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Carrillo-Moreno is trying to work for a kimura but Hoshino is defending well.

Carrillo-Moreno is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hoshino doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carrillo-Moreno.

Hoshino wants to get back to his feet.

Carrillo-Moreno in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hoshino tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Carrillo-Moreno!
