Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Faolin (ranked 202 p4p, 222 weight class) and Taz McKane (ranked 30 p4p, 35 weight class). Faolin comes to the cage accompanied by It Ain’t a Crime by House of Pain. The crowd seem to be enjoying McKane's choice of entrance music: SAVE ME. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Faolin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz McKane!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin throws a series of punches but McKane avoids them all with ease.
McKane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from McKane. Faolin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Faolin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McKane.
Faolin tries to clinch but McKane is having none of it.
Faolin looks to throw the jab but McKane is out of range.
McKane throws a low kick but Faolin moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McKane throws a leg kick which misses Faolin's front leg but catches the back leg as Faolin tries to avoid it.

Joey Faolin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKane thuds his right hand into Faolin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Faolin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Faolin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McKane moves away.

Faolin tries to counter by clinching up but McKane breaks away and moves out of range.

McKane fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Faolin is out of range.
As McKane tries to get set, Faolin tries to push him back and clinch up but McKane manages to avoid the attempt.
Faolin tries to close the distance and clinch but McKane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McKane thinks about the counter body kick.
McKane lets loose with a powerful body kick. Faolin will feel that in the morning.

Faolin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McKane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
