Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 35 p4p, 401 weight class) and Kane Thoupos (ranked 5 p4p, 50 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Sefa - God's Plan. Thoupos has chosen 151 Rum - JID as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Boyko Kersikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 7 - 2, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Thoupos! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thoupos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Kersikov there. A punch lands to the side of Kersikov 's head but he takes it in his stride. Thoupos throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kersikov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kersikov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Thoupos looks to land a left hand but Kersikov moved out of range nicely. Kersikov thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kersikov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like Thoupos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kersikov misses with a hook. Thoupos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Kersikov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kersikov misses with a lunging right hand
and Kersikov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Thoupos throws a lazy uppercut
and Kersikov counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Kane Thoupos has been cut. Nice uppercut there from Thoupos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kersikov cracks Thoupos with a hook to the temple - Thoupos is on wobbly legs here! Kersikov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Thoupos falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kersikov wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Boyko Kersikov! Boyko Kersikov retains his middleweight title! Our winner, Boyko Kersikov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. The defeated Kane Thoupos had this to say: 'What really happened on that Thursday in August High School that led to Chris Woods death? Pftctctxtysfsrhhh the fuck is that! Fly in my mouth, I can’t see… gotta get out of this country motherfucker'.
