Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Vargas (ranked 211 p4p, 414 weight class) and Hog Molly (ranked 15 p4p, 28 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molly misses with a body shot.
Vargas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Molly manages to circle out of the way.
Vargas lands a big right hand that sends Molly crashing to the mat! Vargas stays standing though and waves Molly back to his feet!
It looks like Hog Molly has been cut.
Vargas throws a shot from downtown. Molly moves away and avoids it.
Molly misses with a body shot.
Molly pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Molly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Vargas scores with a counter punch that sends Molly to the canvas! Vargas smells blood - he's punishing Molly with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Molly has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arturo Vargas!
Our winner, Arturo Vargas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
