Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ante Petric (ranked 364 p4p, 399 weight class) and Emmerson Mile (ranked 49 p4p, 51 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emmerson Mile!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petric throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mile counters with a nice low kick that buckles Petric's knee momentarily.
Mile moves out of range of the strikes.
Mile lands with a kick to the temple. Petric shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Ante Petric has been cut.
Mile tries to clinch but Petric moves out of range.
Mile slips a jab from Petric.
Petric seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Petric throws the left hand but Mile avoids the punch easily.
Mile throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Petric throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mile sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Mile makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Petric misses with a hook to the body
and Mile counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Petric is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Petric stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mile.
Mile scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mile bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mile flicks out a counter leg kick but Petric steps away.

Petric steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mile. That one must have hurt.
Petric swings for the body but Mile moves out of range.
Mile throws a fast counter high kick but Petric manages to duck under it in time.
Petric throws an overhand right that lands on Mile's shoulder, as Mile tries to avoid the shot.
Mile thinks about the counter body kick.
Petric takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Mile slips a jab from Petric.
Mile lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Mile has Petric up against the cage in a clinch.
Petric lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Mile.

Mile will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Petric up against the cage.

Petric takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Petric is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Mile counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mile fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Petric has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Petric moves into range and connects with a jab.

The fighters circle, before Mile throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Petric's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mile lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
