Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ripp Colton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Hall!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colton walks into a left hand.
Colton tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hall counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hall showed some decent athleticism there.
Colton scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hall manages to mount him!
Hall content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Richard Hall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hall comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Hall might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Hall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Colton is fending him off so far but Hall persists. Nope, Colton circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ripp Colton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Richard Hall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
