Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rozhkov (ranked 152 p4p, 339 weight class) and Thomas Rose (ranked 23 p4p, 47 weight class). Rose has chosen Raining Blood as his entrance music. Thomas Rose has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alexander Rozhkov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Rozhkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Rose! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rozhkov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rose under the eye. Rozhkov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rozhkov scores with a decent looking hook. Rozhkov throws a hook but Rose blocks it. Rozhkov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut. Rozhkov getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Rozhkov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rose tries to avoid it but Rozhkov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rose to the ground. Rose escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rozhkov fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rozhkov lands with a good body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozhkov throws a hook but Rose avoids it easily. Rozhkov works Rose's body with a nice hook. Rozhkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rose avoids it really well and circles away. Rose doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Rozhkov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rozhkov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rose walks into a left hand. Rozhkov has a takedown stuffed. A countering left hand to the body from Rose misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rozhkov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rose sends Rozhkov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rose is motioning to the referee to let Rozhkov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Alexander Rozhkov has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rozhkov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rozhkov throws an overhand right that lands on Rose's shoulder, as Rose tries to avoid the shot. Rose steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rozhkov. Rozhkov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rozhkov shoots and misses and Rose scores with a counter punch that sends Rozhkov to the canvas! Rose smells blood - he's punishing Rozhkov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rozhkov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Rose! Our winner, Thomas Rose, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
