Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noel Diaz (ranked 133 p4p, 409 weight class) and Jakob Rolf (ranked 18 p4p, 55 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by The Stockton Slap Song. Rolf has chosen AVGN Theme Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noel Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jakob Rolf!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings for the body but Rolf moves out of range.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Jakob Rolf has been cut.
Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rolf has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Rolf drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rolf isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Diaz stacks Rolf on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Diaz!

Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rolf.

Nice uppercut lands for Rolf. That snapped Diaz's head back.

Rolf closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rolf lands in his opponent's guard.

Noel Diaz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
