Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musa Vitalik (ranked 428 p4p, 506 weight class) and Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. (ranked 60 p4p, 67 weight class). Vitalik comes to the cage accompanied by Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide. Thibodeaux Jr. is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rags2Riches. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitalik throws a right and a left that Thibodeaux Jr. avoids nicely.
Vitalik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Thibodeaux Jr. throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thibodeaux Jr. has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Vitalik half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Thibodeaux Jr. uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vitalik has time to react.
Vitalik punishes Thibodeaux Jr.'s body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thibodeaux Jr. fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

We've been hearing reports that Vitalik has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vitalik throws a combination that misses
and Thibodeaux Jr. scores with a counter punch that sends Vitalik to the canvas! Thibodeaux Jr. smells blood - he's punishing Vitalik with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Vitalik has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

A less than humble Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
