Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elwyn Donal (ranked 146 p4p, 319 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 23 p4p, 38 weight class). Smith has chosen Rush - Subdivisions as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

letting Smith counter with a right hand.

We've been told by Donal's head coaches at League of Shadows MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Donal has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Smith to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Donal is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Smith pulls down on the head and he's put Donal to sleep! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Mike Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
