The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Lovanov. That snapped Argento's head back.

We've been hearing reports that Argento has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Argento has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Argento and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zahbit Lovanov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
