Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 158 p4p, 783 weight class) and Boris Krylov (ranked 22 p4p, 101 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Confederate Railroad - Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind. Boris Krylov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov staying out of range there.
Krylov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
As McGuire backs off Krylov throws a huge counter combo but McGuire manages to avoid it all.
McGuire throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
McGuire on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

McGuire clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Krylov.
Krylov lands a body punch.

Krylov manages to break the clinch.
McGuire throws a poor cross that misses
and Krylov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McGuire thinking.
McGuire swings widly with a right hand
and Krylov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Krylov blocks the leg kick.
McGuire tries to clinch
and Krylov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McGuire scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Boris Krylov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuire takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Krylov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire throws a shot from downtown. Krylov moves away and avoids it.
A nice side step and Krylov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
McGuire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Krylov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Krylov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Krylov thows a body kick. McGuire tries to catch it but that hurt him.
McGuire throws out a loose jab but Krylov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Krylov cracks McGuire with an open hand slap.
Krylov looks to score with a jab to the body but McGuire is just out of range.
McGuire misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Krylov counters with a nice body kick.
Krylov checks the leg kick nicely there.
McGuire missing with a left hand there. Krylov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A slapping leg kick lands for Krylov.

Krylov cracks McGuire with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Krylov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGuire to stand back up!

It looks like Ralph McGuire has been cut.
Krylov slips a straight right by McGuire.
Oh McGuire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGuire tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
McGuire seems to have got his legs back now.
Krylov lands a brutal uppercut that launches McGuire off his feet! McGuire tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
