Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 180 p4p, 1131 weight class) and Richard Hall (ranked 7 p4p, 40 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCoy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to YxngB - The Irish. Richard Hall has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy misses with a straight left.

McCoy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hall.
McCoy throws a lazy right hand but Hall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A decent looking cross lands there for Hall.

and McCoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCoy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hall's hands.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hall has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hall drives through with a takedown into McCoy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hall misses with an uppercut. McCoy saw that one coming.
McCoy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
McCoy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hall.

Hall lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

McCoy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hall controls the pace.

Gillechriosd McCoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCoy moves away.
Hall leaves McCoy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McCoy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
McCoy scores with a sloppy right hand. Hall should have avoided that one.

McCoy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hall can do to turn this around?

McCoy drops Hall with a beautiful combination! Hall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCoy is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and McCoy counters with a nice right hand that sends Hall toppling to the canvas! Hall scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McCoy finish him?!
Hall gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! McCoy gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hall is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
