Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Hoost (ranked 125 p4p, 181 weight class) and Gothic Line (ranked 18 p4p, 23 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clarence Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gothic Line!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Line misses with a straight left.
Hoost throws a quick counter kick to the body but Line avoids it.
Line throws a head kick that misses.
Line looks for the body kick but Hoost saw that one coming.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Line thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hoost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hoost bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Line lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Clarence Hoost will probably get the nod.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Line in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Line connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hoost momentarily.

Hoost quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

and Hoost counters with a nice kick to the body.
Line doesn't manage to clinch there - Hoost circles away.
Hoost throws a big counter combination but Line scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Hoost cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

And that's the end of the fight!
Clarence Hoost showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Hoost has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
