Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorgen Kruth (ranked 50 p4p, 252 weight class) and Kimi Enqvist (ranked 3 p4p, 14 weight class). Kruth comes to the cage accompanied by Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jorgen Kruth!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kimi Enqvist!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruth fails to land the takedown.
Kruth shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Enqvist is not content to let Kruth control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kruth wants to free his trapped foot but Enqvist is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Enqvist is trying to stand up here but Kruth is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Enqvist has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kruth is on him like a limpet, forcing Enqvist back against the cage.

Enqvist manages to break the clinch.
Kruth tries to score a power double leg takedown but Enqvist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kruth somewhat.

and Enqvist connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jorgen Kruth has been cut.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Enqvist! But no joy.

Kruth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Enqvist was covering up waiting for the punch and Kruth finishes the takedown easily into guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Enqvist wants to stand and escape but Kruth is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kruth shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Enqvist's guard.

Kruth wants to pass the guard but Enqvist is keeping the position.

Kruth throws his legs up looking for a submission but Enqvist uses it to pass to side control.

Kruth tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Enqvist paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Enqvist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Enqvist wants it to stay on the feet.
Kimi Enqvist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kruth gets the takedown into side control.
Enqvist is looking to regain half guard here but Kruth keeps moving and retains side control.
Kruth looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Enqvist is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Kruth wants to control but Enqvist is keeping him busy.
Kruth is really struggling to control Enqvist but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Kruth goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Enqvist has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kruth but great work by Enqvist.

Oh Kruth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kruth seems to have got his legs back now.

Kruth tries to close the distance and clinch but Enqvist swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kimi Enqvist seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kruth tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Enqvist defends well and Kruth ends up having to push Enqvist into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Enqvist throws out a counter right but Kruth avoids it with no problem.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kruth wants to take the fight to the mat but Enqvist manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Enqvist tries to bum rush Kruth with a series of wild strikes but Kruth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kruth chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Enqvist can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Enqvist throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kruth tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Enqvist swivels and escapes.
Enqvist looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kruth shoots in looking for a takedown but Enqvist manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kruth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kruth takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Enqvist stuffs the takedown attempt from Kruth. Kruth gets slowly back to his feet.
As Kruth backs off Enqvist throws a huge counter combo but Kruth manages to avoid it all.

Kruth takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Enqvist misses with a looping left.
Kruth staying out of range there.
Kruth throws out a loose jab but Enqvist uses good head movement to avoid it.
Enqvist doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Enqvist misses with a body shot.
Enqvist cracks Kruth with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kruth looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Enqvist finish him?
Jorgen Kruth's cut is getting worse.
Kruth looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Enqvist is fending him off so far but Kruth persists. Nope, Enqvist circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Kruth with that takedown attempt.
Enqvist raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Enqvist flashes Kruth a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Kruth's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kruth crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Enqvist punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
