Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Ellacuria (ranked 1527 p4p, 1351 weight class) and Nick Jackson (ranked 123 p4p, 109 weight class). Ellacuria comes to the cage accompanied by The Boss- James Brown. Arturo Ellacuria had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Jackson lands.
Ellacuria misses with an uppercut.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Ellacuria is out of range.
Ellacuria throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ellacuria has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Golden Tiger Combat Club in the buildup to the fight.
Jackson misses the body punch
and Ellacuria cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jackson connects with a looping right hand.
Jackson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ellacuria is able to avoid easily.
Ellacuria was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ellacuria swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ellacuria tests Jackson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ellacuria misses with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ellacuria takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Ellacuria is rocked!
Ellacuria is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though.
Oh Ellacuria is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ellacuria seems to have got his legs back now.
Jackson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ellacuria on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jackson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ellacuria down.

Jackson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Jackson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Ellacuria is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jackson is working Ellacuria over with some ground and pound from side control.

Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ellacuria pushes Jackson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jackson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Jackson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Ellacuria looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Jackson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Arturo Ellacuria was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck it. I'm doing coke with Diego after this, win or lose, anyway.'.
