Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Draught (ranked 826 p4p, 446 weight class) and Marcel Romanow (ranked 99 p4p, 59 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Draught might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to JACKEDANDSTACKEDMASSMONSTER. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcel Romanow!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanow scores with a jab. Draught acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Draught looks to throw the jab but Romanow is out of range.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Romanow is on top in guard.

Draught is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Carlton Draught seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Draught cracks Romanow with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Romanow tries to move into range but Draught moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Marcel Romanow has been cut.

Draught changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Romanow tries to avoid it but Draught manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Romanow to the ground. Romanow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Romanow as Draught shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlton Draught. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Draught throws a hook to the side of Romanow's head but Romanow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Romanow is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Romanow is trying to control the action in half guard but Draught is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Draught is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Romanow defends well.

Draught will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Romanow. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Romanow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Draught has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romanow has managed to get both his arms back between Draught's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carlton Draught will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Romanow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Draught.

Romanow changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Draught takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Draught looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Draught tries to score a power double leg takedown but Romanow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Draught somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Draught appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Draught throws an overhand right that lands on Romanow's shoulder, as Romanow tries to avoid the shot.
Romanow swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Draught.
Draught moves forwards but Romanow connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Draught is rocked!
Draught is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Draught is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Draught fails with a takedown attempt.

Draught walks straight into a right hand from Romanow - that's dropped him! Romanow jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Draught from any more punishment! Draught complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marcel Romanow!
A relieved looking Marcel Romanow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
