Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abelardo De Leon (ranked 208 p4p, 460 weight class) and Lenny King (ranked 27 p4p, 62 weight class). De Leon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mercenary - F.O.O.L. & Power Glove. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch.
De Leon scores with a crisp jab that stopped King in his tracks.

It looks like Lenny King has been cut.
De Leon looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
De Leon misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely.
King looks like he wants to counter punch here.
De Leon misses with a kick to the body.
De Leon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Leon connects with a body shot.
De Leon throws an ugly left hook that misses
and King counters with a slapping leg kick.

De Leon cracks King with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. De Leon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning King to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Leon misses with a body punch
and King counters with a series of strikes. De Leon will be more careful next time no doubt.
Abelardo De Leon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Leon's corner calls for a 1-2. De Leon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That has opened up Lenny King's cut even more.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and King counters with a crisp one two that drops De Leon! King thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves De Leon to his feet! De Leon is in big trouble!

King avoids a punch combination nicely.
De Leon throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target.
King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

De Leon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
De Leon staying out of range there.
De Leon throwing a counter right hand but King manages to avoid it.

De Leon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends King sprawling to the canvas! King rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Leon finish him?!

King is rocked!

The cut above Lenny King's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
De Leon blocks a leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for De Leon.
King has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and De Leon counters with a body kick that stops King in his tracks momentarily.
De Leon thuds his shin into the meat of King's side.
De Leon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
