Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Javier Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Akhmed Dudayev!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudayev misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dudayev misses with an uppercut.
An attempted straight right counter from Arroyo misses the target.
Dudayev throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arroyo counters with a straight right hand.
Dudayev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dudayev throws a series of punches but Arroyo moves out of range.
Arroyo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dudayev finds it's way round the side to connect with Arroyo's head.
Dudayev misses the body punch
and Arroyo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dudayev misses with a lunging right hand
and Arroyo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dudayev moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Javier Arroyo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arroyo moves out of range of the strikes.
Arroyo throws a leg kick but Dudayev moved away.
Arroyo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dudayev was well out of range. Poor timing from Arroyo.
A telegraphed right hand from Dudayev misses the target.
Arroyo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A lazy body kick from Dudayev
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dudayev does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Arroyo thinks about countering with a body kick.
Dudayev slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A big left from Arroyo misses.
Dudayev finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dudayev just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromArroyo.
Dudayev throws a low kick but Arroyo moves out of range easily.
Arroyo avoids the body shot from Dudayev.
Dudayev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dudayev misses with a leg kick
and Arroyo counters with a straight right hand.

Dudayev is rocked!
Dudayev misses with a lunging right hand
and Arroyo counters with a good low kick that Dudayev was not able to check.
Dudayev is still on wobbly legs! Can Arroyo finish him?
Akhmed Dudayev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dudayev looks winded!
Dudayev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Arroyo can pounce on him.
Dudayev has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Arroyo.
Arroyo and Dudayev are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Arroyo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Dudayev into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Arroyo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
