Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wusan Ritori (ranked 11 p4p, 32 weight class) and Janko Godwin (ranked 1 p4p, 7 weight class). Ritori comes to the cage accompanied by Woo-Hah!! Got You All In Check. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wusan Ritori!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Janko Godwin!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin fails to land with a series of punches.
Ritori throws a leg kick
and Godwin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ritori thinking.
Godwin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ritori fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Godwin tries for a takedown but Ritori sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ritori throws a low kick but Godwin avoids it.
Godwin fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Godwin throws a nice looking combination but Ritori bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've been told by Ritori's head coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Ritori throws a front kick that sends Godwin stumbling back into the cage.

Godwin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ritori swivels and escapes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Godwin tries to move into range but Ritori moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ritori shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ritori throws a sloppy head kick and Godwin moves out of range easily.
Godwin moves away from the strike by Ritori.

Ritori was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Godwin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ritori.
Godwin lands a jab to Ritori's midsection.
Ritori scores with a hook to the body. Godwin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Godwin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Godwin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ritori.
Godwin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Godwin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ritori misses with a low kick.
Ritori bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Godwin's head.

Godwin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice body kick from Ritori.
Ritori lands a jab to the nose.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wusan Ritori dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Godwin loads up on a big right hand but Ritori slips the punch.
Ritori is looking to slow Godwin down with leg kicks.
Godwin slips a straight right by Ritori.
Godwin wants to counter with a clinch but Ritori pushes him away.
Ritori keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Godwin.
Ritori misses with a shot to the body
and Ritori takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Godwin fails with the takedown
and Ritori counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Ritori feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Godwins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Godwin dives in for a single leg takedown but Ritori sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ritori thinks about countering with a body kick.
Godwin blocks the body kick.
Ritori bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Godwin's head backwards.
Godwin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ritori's hands.
Godwin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ritori swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ritori throws a lazy body kick
and Godwin counters with a left to the body.
Ritori fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Godwin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Godwin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ritori - the referee stops the clock and Godwin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ritori. Godwin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ritori goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Godwin cracks Ritori with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ritori lets loose with a powerful body kick. Godwin will feel that in the morning.
Wusan Ritori is winning the standup battle so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Godwin blocks a jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Godwin misses.
Godwin takes a swing at Ritori's ribcage but misses.
Godwin tries to clinch there but Ritori circles away.
Godwin misses with the combination.
A little feinted left hand from Ritori on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Ritori bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Godwin's head backwards.
Ritori throws a hook to the side of Godwin's head but Godwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ritori throws a low kick, looking for Godwin's leg but Godwin calmly moves out of range.
A jab lands there for Ritori.
Ritori connects with a right hand. Godwin shakes it off.
Godwin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ritori slips under a jab.
Godwin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ritori lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ritori bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ritori throws a good cross that connects.
Godwin is rocked!

Godwin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ritori finish him?

Godwin is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ritori lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Godwin crumples to the floor! Ritori milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
