Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miet Cleever (ranked 4 p4p, 256 weight class) and Clint River (ranked 1 p4p, 37 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cleever gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Miet Cleever has been cut.
Cleever loads up on a big right hand but River slips the punch.
Cleever throws a poor cross that misses
and River counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
River throws a leg kick but Cleever sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That kick from River tenderised Cleever's leg. Cleever is trying to keep his angry face on.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cleever lands a brutal head kick. River looks out on his feet and Cleever throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
