And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaven Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temple throws out a loose jab but Murphy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murphy tries to counter by closing the distance.
Murphy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Temple avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Temple swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Murphy scores with a hook.
Murphy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Temple, as that shot connected.
Murphy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Trent Temple has been cut.
Temple misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Temple checks a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Murphy. Temple does a little dance to reset his feet.
Murphy throws a sloppy head kick and Temple moves out of range easily.
Temple throwing a counter right hand but Murphy manages to avoid it.
Murphy takes one on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Murphy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Temple throws a body punch but Murphy moves out of range.
Murphy tries to counter by closing the distance.
Temple misses with a body shot.
Murphy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A big right from Murphy misses.
Murphy moves into the clinch successfully.
Murphy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Murphy prevents a takedown attempt there.
Temple has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Murphy uses from the top position.

Temple wants to sweep but no luck.
Temple escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Murphy lying in Temple's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Temple decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Murphy taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
