Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cathal Doherty (ranked 183 p4p, 178 weight class) and Joe Exotic (ranked 23 p4p, 22 weight class). Doherty's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jeremy- Pearl Jam. Exotic has chosen Joe Exotic - I Saw a Tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cathal Doherty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 17 - 2, fighting out of New York, Joe Exotic!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty throws a poor cross that misses
and Exotic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Doherty throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Exotic looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Exotic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doherty on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doherty's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Exotic connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Doherty scrambles back to his feet.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Exotic might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Doherty has got the better of the exchanges.

Exotic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Exotic circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Doherty drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Exotic follows Doherty to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Exotic!
After winning the bout, Joe Exotic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
