Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kohinata Minoru Ii (ranked 107 p4p, 181 weight class) and Arturo Vargas (ranked 6 p4p, 15 weight class). Kohinata Minoru Ii could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arturo Vargas's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arturo Vargas!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kohinata Minoru Ii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vargas throws the left hand but Minoru Ii avoids the punch easily.
Vargas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Arturo Vargas has been cut.
Minoru Ii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vargas has time to react.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vargas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Minoru Ii sprawling to the canvas! Minoru Ii rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vargas finish him?!

Vargas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Vargas counters with a nice right hand that sends Minoru Ii toppling to the canvas! Minoru Ii scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Vargas finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Vargas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Minoru Ii, as that shot connected.

Vargas tries to counter with a clinch but Minoru Ii shakes him off and moves away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Vargas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That was a close round but I would say that Kohinata Minoru Ii will probably get the nod.

and Minoru Ii scores with a counter punch that sends Vargas to the canvas! Minoru Ii smells blood - he's punishing Vargas with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Vargas has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
