Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik White (ranked 444 p4p, 369 weight class) and Ian Carter (ranked 59 p4p, 50 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think White might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. Carter has chosen “Shipping up to Boston” Dropkick Murphy’s as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredrik White! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ian Carter! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A right-left combo lands from White.
It looks like Ian Carter has been cut. White falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carter counters with a right hand to the body. White misses with a double jab
and White takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Fredrik White has been cut. White fails in his attempt to clinch. Carter connects with a crisp jab. Fredrik White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely. White misses with a hook
and Carter counters with a stiff right hand. White looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. White throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease. White moves in looking to clinch but Carter pushes him off. Carter appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. White moves out of range of the strikes. White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center. A big right from White misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carter on the side of the head. White darts in trying to clinch and Carter counters with a right hand to the body. White looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well. White wants to clinch. Carter rushes White and presses him up against the cage. Carter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Carter lands an uppercut. Carter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Carter misses with the head strike.
Carter scores with a shot to the side of White's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short left from Carter. Carter misses with some punches.
A shot in the inside from Carter. This has been an exciting period of action! White misses with an elbow strike.
White lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. White throws a punch but it's blocked by Carter. White is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Carter is keeping busy. With the fighters up against the cage, White throws an elbow but misses. Carter takes a shot to the head. Carter scores with a nice hook to the head. White lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Carter scores with a shot to the side of White's head. Carter blocks an uppercut.
Carter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of White backwards. White gets through Carter's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Carter digs a right hand underneath White's ribcage. White let out a lung full of air as it connected. Carter is leaning against White and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. White looking to slow down the pace here. Carter dodges an elbow strike from White.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Carter. Carter presses White against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
White is breathing heavily. A short uppercut from Carter. Carter scores with a shot to the side of White's head.
White is rocked! Carter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks White with a big uppercut! White tries to clinch up but Carter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples White to the mat! White covers up and Carter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
