Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Irong Kasamsun (ranked 211 p4p, 354 weight class) and Eli Pope (ranked 27 p4p, 46 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasamsun swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pope counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Donk. Kasamsun catches Pope right on the button with a cross.
Kasamsun fails with the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Pope on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kasamsun throws a series of punches but Pope avoids them all with ease.
Kasamsun avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A right-left combo lands from Kasamsun.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kasamsun. Pope does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kasamsun scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kasamsun connects with a looping right hand.
Kasamsun pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pope back to the cage. Kasamsun follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Pope has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Pope counters with a solid body kick.

It looks like Irong Kasamsun has been cut.

and Kasamsun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Pope counters with a big right hand! Oh Kasamsun is in trouble here! Pope follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
