Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Teo King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jun Liu!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Liu throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
King avoids the head kick by Liu.
Liu throws a head kick that misses.
King throwing a counter right hand but Liu manages to avoid it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! King crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Liu - the referee stops the clock and King gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Liu. King manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Liu connects with the punch.
That kick from Liu tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on.
King throws the kick towards the body but Liu avoids it.
No joy there for Liu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Liu.
Liu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Liu throws a body kick that misses.
King fires out a quick counter leg kick but Liu just manages to avoid it.
Liu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King lands an overhand right.
It looks like Jun Liu has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Liu throws a big shot that misses.
A big right from Liu misses.

King blocks a jab.
Liu throws a hook but King blocks it.
King connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Liu's hands.
Liu is looking to land body kicks.
It looked like King wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Liu throws an overhand right that lands on King's shoulder, as King tries to avoid the shot.
King moves out of range as Liu strikes.
King lands a nice looking body shot.
King lands a big head kick that sends Liu tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Liu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Liu is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and King counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
