Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Veainu swivels and escapes.
Veainu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spong.
A nice side step and Veainu releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good exchange - Spong coming out on top.
Veainu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Spong lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Spong cracks Veainu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Spong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Veainu but Veainu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Veainu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Spong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veainu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Veainu wants it to stay on the feet.
Spong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Spong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Veainu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Veainu moves away.
Spong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vunipola Veainu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spong shoots for a double leg takedown but Veainu sprawls well. He's pushed Spong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Veainu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Veainu scores with a counter punch that sends Spong to the canvas! Veainu smells blood - he's punishing Spong with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Spong has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
