The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer tries to work over Madzarov's front leg with a kick but Madzarov checks it.
Boomer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boomer throws out a powerful jab.
Boomer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bronk´s GYM in the buildup to the fight.
Boomer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Madzarov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Boomer is able to avoid easily.
Boomer tries to clinch up but Madzarov circles away and keeps his distance.
Boomer drops his hands momentarily and Madzarov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Some bone on bone action there as Boomer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Boomer misses with a lunging right hand

and Madzarov counters with a nice right hand that sends Boomer toppling to the canvas! Boomer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Madzarov finish him?!

It looks like Mike Boomer has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boomer looks to land a left hand but Madzarov moved out of range nicely.
Boomer throws a lazy uppercut
and Madzarov counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
