Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Carter (ranked 238 p4p, 658 weight class) and Bill River (ranked 30 p4p, 86 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by “Shipping up to Boston” Dropkick Murphy’s. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
River scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
River dodges the punch combination from Carter.
River tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from River.
Carter swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
