Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zark Muckerberg (ranked 197 p4p, 79 weight class) and Kohinata Minoru Ii (ranked 30 p4p, 10 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zark Muckerberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kohinata Minoru Ii!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muckerberg slips a straight right by Minoru Ii.
Minoru Ii throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circling - Muckerberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Muckerberg lands with a nice body punch.
Minoru Ii lands a slapping body shot.
Muckerberg's corner calls for a 1-2. Muckerberg obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Muckerberg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Minoru Ii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Muckerberg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Minoru Ii defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muckerberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Minoru Ii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Muckerberg passes Minoru Ii's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Muckerberg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Minoru Ii can do to turn this around?
Muckerberg wants to pass to mount but Minoru Ii is defending the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Muckerberg is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Minoru Ii is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
