Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Haitian Ginger (ranked 242 p4p, 485 weight class) and Diego Macaco (ranked 43 p4p, 73 weight class). Macaco has chosen Can’t Touch This as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Macaco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macaco scores with a jab.

As Macaco backs away, Ginger returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Macaco is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ginger had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Macaco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looked like Ginger wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ginger might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Ginger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Macaco throws a hook to the side of Ginger's head but Ginger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Macaco lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Ginger crumples to the floor! Macaco milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
