Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colby Gebhardt (ranked 1670 p4p, 744 weight class) and Joon Sang Hun (ranked 118 p4p, 49 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Colby Gebhardt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Colby Gebhardt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Colby Gebhardt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joon Sang Hun! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sang Hun moves into the clinch successfully.
Gebhardt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Sang Hun.
Sang Hun doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gebhardt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sang Hun ducks under a wild hook from Gebhardt. Gebhardt misses with a left hand and Gebhardt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gebhardt throws a hook but Sang Hun avoids it easily. Sang Hun walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gebhardt. Gebhardt gets tackled into the cage by Sang Hun. Sang Hun maintains the clinch. A hook to the body from Gebhardt.
Sang Hun prevents a body shot from Gebhardt. Gebhardt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gebhardt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Sang Hun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sang Hun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gebhardt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gebhardt throws an off balance right hand
and Sang Hun counters with a left to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gebhardt swings widly with a right hand
and Sang Hun counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gebhardt's knee momentarily. Sang Hun ducks under a wild hook from Gebhardt. And Sang Hun responds with a good body kick, but Gebhardt manages to step out the way in time. Gebhardt misses with a leg kick and Sang Hun counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gebhardt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gebhardt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sang Hun can pounce on him.
Sang Hun throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gebhardt on the side of the head. A slapping leg kick lands for Sang Hun.
Sang Hun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gebhardt.
Sang Hun thinks about the counter body kick. Gebhardt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sang Hun sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sang Hun now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We've been told by Gebhardt's head coaches at Alpha Brasil that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sang Hun gets in close and instigates a clinch. Gebhardt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sang Hun lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gebhardt tries to work over Sang Hun's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gebhardt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sang Hun jumps guard but Gebhardt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A left hand lands to the body for Sang Hun.
Gebhardt tries to throw a body punch but Sang Hun avoids it by throwing Gebhardt back against the cage. Gebhardt is trying to push Sang Hun away but Sang Hun has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Gebhardt blocks an uppercut.
Sang Hun lands with a light punch inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gebhardt tries to work over Sang Hun's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gebhardt breaks the clinch.
Sang Hun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gebhardt throws out the jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gebhardt looks to land a right hand but Sang Hun moved out of range. Sang Hun counters with a body kick. Gebhardt throws a body kick that misses letting Sang Hun counter with a right hand. Gebhardt misses with a left hand and Sang Hun counters with a low kick, right behind Gebhardt 's knee. Sang Hun rushes Gebhardt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gebhardt tries to throw a body punch but Sang Hun avoids it by throwing Gebhardt back against the cage. Sang Hun pulls guard. Sang Hun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gebhardt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gebhardt won't allow Sang Hun to sweep him here. Sang Hun managing to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sang Hun is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sang Hun has his hands on Gebhardt's head, controlling the position. Sang Hun has his foot on Gebhardt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gebhardt works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sang Hun is trying to control the position but Gebhardt postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gebhardt being controlled here momentarily. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Gebhardt postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gebhardt misses with a left hand and Sang Hun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gebhardt throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sang Hun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A good leg kick by Gebhardt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joon Sang Hun dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Sang Hun lands a leg kick that knocks Gebhardt off balance momentarily. Gebhardt throws a jab but it's blocked by Sang Hun. Gebhardt with a nice calf kick. Sang Hun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gebhardt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Joon Sang Hun seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gebhardt misses with a hook. Sang Hun ducked under it nicely. Sang Hun slips under a jab from Gebhardt. Sang Hun looks like he wants to counter punch here. Gebhardt throws a right hand that misses
and Sang Hun counters with a low kick, right behind Gebhardt 's knee. Gebhardt misses with a leg kick and Sang Hun counters with a straight right hand. Gebhardt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sang Hun. Sang Hun wants to clinch up but Gebhardt keeps it at a distance. Colby Gebhardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gebhardt gets tackled into the cage by Sang Hun. Sang Hun maintains the clinch. Gebhardt tries to work over Sang Hun's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gebhardt goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sang Hun struggles to land a body shot inside as Gebhardt controls his hands.
Gebhardt has had enough of the clinch but Sang Hun keeps him there for the moment. Gebhardt breaks the clinch.

and Sang Hun counters with a nice leg kick. Gebhardt misses with a shot to the body and Sang Hun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gebhardt throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sang Hun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gebhardt is rocked! Sang Hun has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sang Hun measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Gebhardt! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Joon Sang Hun! After winning the bout, Joon Sang Hun thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
