The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okoro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut lands for Okoro. That snapped DeCoteau's head back.
It looks like Caleb DeCoteau has been cut.
DeCoteau looks to land a right hand but Okoro moved out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Okoro there.
Okoro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Okoro connects with a solid leg kick.
Okoro throws out a loose jab but DeCoteau uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice side step and DeCoteau releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Okoro pushes DeCoteau away with a front kick.
Okoro throws a body shot but no joy.
It seemed like DeCoteau was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Okoro scores with a jab to the body.
Okoro throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
DeCoteau looks winded!
DeCoteau takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Okoro drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of DeCoteau's head, knocking him out cold! Okoro is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kobe Okoro!
