Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcel Romanow!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Romanow working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

and Romanow counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ro!
Ro is looking for a sweep.
Romanow has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Romanow punching from mount but Ro doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Romanow is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Ro is rocked!
Romanow softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Ro is out cold! Romanow jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcel Romanow!
Marcel Romanow seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
