Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ranger Alderidge (ranked 857 p4p, 897 weight class) and Jacinto Cruz (ranked 95 p4p, 97 weight class). Alderidge comes to the cage accompanied by Portland, Oregon. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alderidge crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cruz - the referee stops the clock and Alderidge gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cruz. Alderidge manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cruz cracks Alderidge with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
