The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykora connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sykora lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sykora goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Farman throws a shot from downtown. Sykora moves away and avoids it.
It seemed like Sykora was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sykora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Sykora misses with an uppercut
and Farman counters with a nice uppercut.
We've been told by Farman's head coaches at Outlaw MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Farman slips under a jab from Sykora.
Sykora bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sykora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sykora throws out a loose jab but Farman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sykora misses with a few strikes there.
Sykora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Farman.
Sykora scores with a sloppy right hand. Farman should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Farman misses with a straight right.

Farman sends Sykora crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Farman is motioning to the referee to let Sykora up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sykora is rocked!

It looks like Michal Sykora has been cut.
Farman is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sykora flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sykora is out cold! Farman holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
