A momentary lapse in concentration from Nomura enables Jimenez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nomura manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tadahiro Nomura will probably get the nod.

After the fight, Diogo Jimenez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
