Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Cowan (ranked 387 p4p, 481 weight class) and Ricky Greene (ranked 27 p4p, 35 weight class). Greene has chosen Stepdad- Eminem as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Cowan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Ricky Greene!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene lands with a good body shot.
Mickey Cowan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cowan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Greene if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Greene moves forwards but Cowan connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Greene thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cowan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Greene slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Greene feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Greene is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Let's hope that Greene has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Greene drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cowan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Greene has Cowan in his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Greene shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cowan's guard.

Cowan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Ricky Greene.
