Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 15 p4p, 252 weight class) and Minato Tokugawa (ranked 3 p4p, 33 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with Sefa - God's Plan blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Boyko Kersikov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Boyko Kersikov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 7 - 2, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Tokugawa. Kersikov scores with a nice right hand.
Kersikov throws a hook but Tokugawa blocks it. Tokugawa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kersikov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tokugawa. Tokugawa circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tokugawa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kersikov manages to avoid it. Kersikov circles away from the clinch attempt and Kersikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Minato Tokugawa has been cut. Minato Tokugawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tokugawa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tokugawa throws a lazy uppercut
and Kersikov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tokugawa! Kersikov lets Tokugawa back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Tokugawa is rocked! Tokugawa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kersikov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kersikov jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. The crowd cheers as Tokugawa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kersikov doesn't seem phased though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tokugawa throws a body shot but no joy. Tokugawa cracks Kersikov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kersikov falls backwards against the cage. Tokugawa follows up with more strikes that drop Kersikov to his knees. Tokugawa keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kersikov! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Minato Tokugawa! Minato Tokugawa is the new middleweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Minato Tokugawa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
