Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Tyler throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Puno misses with a straight left.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Puno.
A slapping leg kick lands for Puno.
Puno moves out of range as Tyler throws a body kick.
Puno steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tyler. That one must have hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyler closes the distance and pushes Puno back into the cage.
Puno lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tyler or not.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Puno misses with a punch on the inside.
Tyler misses with a short punch on the inside.
Puno breaks the clinch.
Puno uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyler.
Tyler misses with an uppercut
and Puno counters with a leg kick.
Puno connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Pete Tyler has been cut.
Puno moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A big left from Tyler misses.
Tyler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tyler scores with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puno lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tyler will feel that in the morning.
Tyler looks winded!
Tyler looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That has opened up Pete Tyler's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
An inside leg kick lands from Puno.
Puno lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tyler tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A shot to the body from Tyler misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Puno cracks Tyler with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tyler looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Puno finish him?
The cut above Pete Tyler's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tyler swings away with a body shot that misses
and Puno counters with a nice kick to the body.
Puno thuds his shin into the meat of Tyler's side.
Puno throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Puno.
Puno feints and then cracks Tyler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyler down.
Puno throws an overhand right that drops Tyler like a sack of potatoes! Puno dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adan Puno!
Adan Puno decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
