Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevo Caruga!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Stevo Caruga has been cut.
Caruga tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Caruga somewhat.

Caruga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. King is trying to defend but Caruga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

King is looking to escape.
Caruga uses his free foot to push down on King's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for King.

Caruga is going oldschool here, as he tries to force King to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so King shrugs it off.

King stands and throws Caruga's legs to the side, diving into side control.

King is staying tight to Caruga's torso, preventing him from escaping.
King has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caruga gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
King controlling the pace for now.
Caruga is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Caruga is controlling an arm, preventing King from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

King throws a jab when Caruga was well out of range.
And Caruga tries to counter it with a takedown but King pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Caruga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
King was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Caruga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lenny King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevo Caruga.
Caruga doesn't succeed with the takedown
and King scores with a counter punch that sends Caruga to the canvas! King smells blood - he's punishing Caruga with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Caruga has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lenny King!
Our winner, Lenny King, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
