Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Minato Tokugawa (ranked 33 p4p, 345 weight class) and Pavel Kostov (ranked 4 p4p, 41 weight class). Kostov has chosen Гио Пика - Буйно Голова as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 15 - 4, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Kostov! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tokugawa moves out of range of the body kick from Kostov.
Tokugawa misses with an uppercut. Tokugawa swings widly with a right hand
and Kostov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tokugawa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kostov manages to avoid it. A countering left hand to the body from Kostov misses. Kostov throws a leg kick that misses. Tokugawa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tokugawa looks to clinch and Kostov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tokugawa lands the left hand. Tokugawa keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tokugawa was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tokugawa misses with a body shot.
Kostov now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Tokugawa throws out a loose jab but Kostov uses good head movement to avoid it. Tokugawa backing away here, and Kostov unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Tokugawa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Minato Tokugawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kostov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kostov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tokugawa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tokugawa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tokugawa missing with a left hand there. Kostov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kostov follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Tokugawa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kostov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tokugawa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Good exchange - Tokugawa coming out on top.
Kostov is rocked! Kostov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tokugawa. Tokugawa drops Kostov with a big left hand! Kostov is injured, injured bad! Tokugawa jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Minato Tokugawa! Minato Tokugawa retains his middleweight title! Minato Tokugawa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
