And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz McKane!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKane looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McKane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Karl Karjalainen has been cut.
Karjalainen connects with a leg kick.
Karjalainen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ubergym in the buildup to the fight.
Karjalainen throws a right hand that misses
and McKane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Karjalainen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McKane takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Karjalainen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karjalainen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Karjalainen throws a right hand that misses
and McKane counters with a nice kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McKane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A left lands for Karjalainen.
Karl Karjalainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karjalainen slips a jab and a cross from McKane.
Karjalainen misses with an uppercut.
McKane throws a body kick that misses.
Karjalainen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Karjalainen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McKane throws out a counter right but Karjalainen avoids it with no problem.
McKane misses with a looping left.
McKane throws an off balance right hand
and McKane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Karjalainen misses with a hook.
McKane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

McKane misses with a hook. Karjalainen ducked under it nicely.
McKane slips a jab from Karjalainen.
McKane lands a jab to Karjalainen's midsection.
McKane throws a half hearted mid kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karjalainen throws an off balance right hand
and McKane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Karjalainen throws a sloppy head kick
enabling McKane to counter with a crisp jab.
Karjalainen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McKane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Karjalainen.
Karjalainen tries to move into range but McKane moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Karl Karjalainen's cut is getting worse.
Karjalainen swings and misses with a shot to the body
and McKane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McKane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Karjalainen misses with a looping right.
It seemed like McKane was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

McKane throws out a loose jab but Karjalainen uses good head movement to avoid it.
McKane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McKane lands a big uppercut and Karjalainen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Karjalainen looks OK. McKane waves Karjalainen back to his feet!
Karjalainen is rocked!
Karl Karjalainen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McKane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Karjalainen works the jab nicely.
Karjalainen cracks McKane with a right hand to the side of the head.

Karjalainen circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends McKane tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Karjalainen wins by KO!

Karl Karjalainen bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
