Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Luciano (ranked 1146 p4p, 878 weight class) and Jan Siuta (ranked 149 p4p, 102 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Siuta's choice of entrance music: "Rock Superstar" Cypress Hill. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Siuta!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano with a poor takedown
letting Siuta counter with a right hand.
It looks like Charles Luciano has been cut.
Luciano misses with a lunging right hand
and Siuta counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Luciano looks to land a body kick but Siuta moved away.
It seemed like Siuta was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Luciano throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Jan Siuta has been cut.
Siuta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Luciano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Luciano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Siuta counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Siuta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Luciano feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Siutas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Siuta on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Luciano. Luciano obviously looking to wear him down.
Luciano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Siuta connects with a body shot that sends Luciano's belly button to the back.
Luciano throws a lazy body kick
and Siuta cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Luciano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Luciano throws a jab but it's blocked by Siuta.
Siuta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Luciano has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Siuta swings for the body but Luciano moves out of range.
A low kick from Luciano misses
and Siuta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Siuta counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Luciano goes for a double leg but Siuta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Siuta continues to drive forward.
Siuta swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Luciano tries to break free but Siuta pushes him back against the cage.
Luciano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Luciano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Siuta throws a counter combo.
Luciano closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Siuta did well to prevent Luciano getting side control.
Siuta is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Siuta manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Siuta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Luciano forces his way into half guard.

Siuta actively working from the bottom here.
Luciano is keen to just control but Siuta is a slippery customer.
Luciano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Siuta sees it coming and defends easily.
Siuta trying to get back to full guard but Luciano takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Siuta is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Siuta avoids a series of strikes thrown by Luciano.
Siuta felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Luciano is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Luciano extends the arm and Siuta is forced to tap!
