Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Passel (ranked 435 p4p, 658 weight class) and Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 51 p4p, 70 weight class). McCoy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by YxngB - The Irish. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Passel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gillechriosd McCoy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passel rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McCoy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab from Passel finds it's way through McCoy's defenses.
Passel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Passel tries for a takedown but McCoy circles away easily
and Passel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Passel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCoy moves away.
Passel misses with a wild body shot.
Passel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Passel connects with a good right hand that stumbles McCoy. McCoy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Passel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCoy moves away.
A little jabbing left from McCoy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McCoy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Passel scores with a crisp jab that stopped McCoy in his tracks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCoy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Passel throws a hook to the side of McCoy's head but McCoy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Passel.
Passel takes a jab right on the kisser.
Passel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fighters circling - Passel throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Passel misses with a takedown
and McCoy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Passel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Passel jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gillechriosd McCoy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Passel throws a hook to the side of McCoy's head but McCoy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ben Passel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCoy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Passel.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Passel, as that shot connected.
Passel swings and misses with a shot to the body
and McCoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Passel is rocked!

and McCoy counters with a crisp right that sends Passel to the canvas! McCoy follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gillechriosd McCoy!
A relieved looking Gillechriosd McCoy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
