The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberto misses with a two punch combination.
We've been told by Cheese's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Roberto pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cheese misses the jab.
Roberto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cheese pivots, looking for a leg kick but Roberto is out of range and Cheese settles back down.

A bone on bone clash there as Roberto blocks the leg kick.
Roberto misses with a hook. Cheese ducked under it nicely.
Cheese digs a good body shot into Roberto's ribs.
Cheese throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Cheese misses with a straight left.
Roberto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cheese looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Roberto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cheese moves away.
A slow jab from Roberto misses its intended target.
Cheese ducks under a wild hook from Roberto.
Cheese keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Roberto.
We've been informed that Roberto has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Roberto misses with a straight right.

Roberto looks to throw the jab but Cheese is out of range.
Roberto throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Roberto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Roberto takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Paulo Roberto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roberto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cheese.

Cheese scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Roberto is rocked!
Roberto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cheese appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Cheese pounces like a tiger and cracks Roberto with a vicious hook! Roberto is down but not out! Cheese follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
